This Privacy Policy explains how AquaVital (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use the AquaVital iOS application (the “App”) and related services (the “Service”). Please read it carefully. By using the App, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use.
AquaVital is a personal hydration tracking app. You can use core features without creating an account. For privacy questions, contact tonyang1189@proton.me.
We design AquaVital to keep most data on your device. Depending on the features you enable, the following categories may be processed:

AquaVital does not require an AquaVital user account, and does not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the App (except if you voluntarily email support).
AquaVital’s core logging does not require Camera, Photo Library, Contacts, Location, Microphone, or Tracking (ATT) permissions.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your Health data for advertising.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to an on-device-first app, including reliance on iOS sandboxing, App Group isolation, AES-GCM encryption before optional iCloud transport, a separate synchronizable Keychain key, and Apple platform security for Health, iCloud, and purchases. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
The App is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support email, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. Minors should use the App only with a parent or guardian’s guidance where required by local law.
AquaVital is offered via the Apple App Store. Depending on your device settings and enabled Apple services (such as iCloud), data may be processed in regions where Apple operates. If you use the App outside your home country, you understand that platform processing may involve cross-border transfers controlled by Apple for those system services.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. For AquaVital:
Purchase and subscription billing records are controlled by Apple; for refunds or invoice questions, use Apple’s support channels.
Hydration goals and insights are general wellness tools, not medical advice. Do not use the App as a substitute for professional medical judgment.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Policy bundled in the App and/or through in-App notice where appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
